Do you think god cares what religion you are or do you think he will take all that believe in a higher power to heaven?

Goodness and purity in heart is all that matters; the words contrary to this are delusions shared by humans and demons.

The question being rephrased might be does truth matter to God. I believe it does. I'm not claiming to know all the truth, but some religions are diametrically opposed to each other in their beliefs. Can they all be true? Does God just sit back with a perma-smile and say it's all good? If he sent his son to die for men's sins would it not matter to him if men rejected his son? It is a good question, which each person needs to come to grips with. It is a logical conclusion to believe truth does exist. If truth doesn't exist than the statement truth doesn't exist would be untrue as well. If truth does exist does it have an origin? Who or what is that origin? Worth examining. Jesus said he was the way the truth and the life and that all that came before him were thieves and robbers. Can this be true and untrue? It would be unlogical for Jesus statement to be true and all other paths true as well. Well as it turns out there are many differences in what the different relgions consider true so they can't all be true.

Matthew 7:13 for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Jehova is the absolute truth as he has revealed himself to us through the Bible. The Bible is the only book to make such lofty claims. So that narrows it down to Judism and Christianity. But if you are a Jew you are under the law and must be perfect because you can not offer a sacrifice for your sin since the temple has been destroyed. So you have no attonment for your sin under the law.

Christianity offers the only way.

Romans 3:23 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Yeshua dying on the cross and his resurection are the only way to walk with the Creator of the all.

John 14:6 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

I dont think he cares. He says that there is only one way that you can't get into heaven. But he never really says what that is. I believe that it is not believing in him, because if you don't believe in him, then you don't believe in heaven, therefore you cannot go to heaven. Besides, different religions, so long as they are from the Bible and are worshiped around God, are just different peoples' interpretations of it.

God the Father will not look at which religion you are. Belief in Him is more than believing in a higher power. It calls for recognition of His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus in the Scriptures says that "if you see me you see the Father." To believe in God, one must also believe and accept Jesus. This is what God will care about, this is key.

No i do not think so. What really matters is the individuals intentions while serving. Are they serving with a spiritual or physical heart? Most people are more physical in this world than anything. I used to believe in whatever works for you. But now i understand that we are the ones who have to do the work. GOD Bless

Firs you have to ask yourself the question "what type of God do you serve, and does he expect exclusive devotion. If your answer is yes then the answer to you first question is also yes. God is just a title, God gave us names and He to has a name. Read Psalms 83:18 and start there. May God bless you.

In Genesis 4, both Cain and Abel were worshiping. Abel's was by faith (Hebrews 11:4). Since faith comes from hearing the word of God, it could be concluded that God must have told them what he wanted or Abel could not have worshiped according to faith. Without faith it imposable to please God. (Hebrews 11:6) It obviously mattered how Cain and Abel practiced their religion.

In Lev. 10:1-2, Nadab and Abihu were worshiping, but it was not pleasing to God. It mattered.

In Matthew 15:9, some were worshiping Christ, but their worship was vain because they taught a man-made doctrine instead of following the word of God. It mattered.

In Romans 10: 1-3, there are some who Paul desired for and prayed for them to be saved. These that needed to be saved has a zeal for God, but instead of this zeal coming from a knowledge of God's word, they were trying to establish their own system of faith. It mattered.

Jews deny that Jesus is the Christ. Jesus said, "if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins." It matters.

God has always wanted his people to follow His word. We should all be united! Notice 1 Corinthians 1:10...

"Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment."

After reading this verse, can you say it doesn't matter? It may not matter to you, but the Bible tells us over and over that it matters to God.
