INGREDIENTS:
1 cup butter (no substitutes), softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup finely chopped walnuts
1 (8 ounce) package milk chocolate kisses
1 1/3 cups confectioners' sugar, divided
2 tablespoons baking cocoa

DIRECTIONS:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Gradually add flour. Fold in walnuts. Refrigerate dough for 2-3 hour or until firm. Shape into 1-in. balls. Flatten balls and place a chocolate kiss in the center of each; pinch dough together around kiss. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees F for 12 minutes or until set but not browned. Cool for 1 minute; remove from pans to wire racks. Sift 2/3 cup confectioners' sugar and cocoa. While cookies are still warm, roll half in cocoa mixture and half in remaining confectioners' sugar. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container.

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup white sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 egg
18 milk chocolate candy kisses,
unwrapped
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Combine sugar, peanut butter, and egg.
3. Shape into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. NOTE: If dough is too sticky, refrigerate 1/2 hour or until easy to handle.
4. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove cookies from oven. Press a chocolate kiss into the center of each warm cookie.

1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix together first 5 ingredients; then add remaining flour and mix until you form a sticky dough. Roll into small balls and place onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until just golden brown. Place unwrapped Hershey kiss in center of each cookie, while they are still hot. Makes approximately 48 cookies.

The above recipes look good. If you're in a hurry, you can also buy the rolls of peanut butter cookie dough from the grocery store. Roll into balls, then dip into sugar and add a chocolate kiss.
