I work at a large office and many of my co-workers who attend Bapatist churches listen to chruch music extrmely loud and often quote scrupture and read thier bibles at work. They love to discuss on Mondays sermons from Sunday and on Thursdays Bible study. Yet, these same people treat customers like garbage and often can be found gossiping, sleeping with married men, fornicating, telling lies, digging ditches etc. I am tired of hearing Kirk Franklin, Hezaki Walker and other played extrmemly loud only to have that same person treat me and others like the dirt on the ground.

I would love to hear from people who listen to loud church music and attend Baptist churches!

Babe, I am sorry to inform you that Christians, especially Baptists, have a monopoly on The Truth. Whatever they do or say is good good good by definition because somewhere in the bible god told them it is their Christian duty to antagonize others in order to drive them away from God. Apparently Heaven is running out of room and God wants the Christians to lower everyone's expectations ASAP. ;-)

I listen to LOUD LOUD Church Music ! Why not ? I have had to endure loud Rap music, Rock music, and what some call Country Music, more like Rock with a Southern Accent ! A while back I was Pumping Gas. A young Gangsta drove up playing Rap, It was so loud I heard him a block away, his windows were closed. The words of the Rap "Song" were "If you don't like my Rap F*** Y** !" This was VERY LOUD ! Tell me, why shouldn't I play Christian Music as loud as I want ?
BTW, I'm Pentecostal, not Baptist.

What those people are doing is wrong. You must take with you the behavior that you have in Chruch with you when you leave the church house doors, and go into the world. Playing loud christian music does not make you a good christian. any more than praying out loud does.

Proverbs 11:9 An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.

Job 27:8 For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?

Job 15:34 For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery

Matthew 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

God knows their hearts, and He will deal with what they are doing wrong, that is being done in His name.

i don't listen to my gospel music loudly whether at home or in the car. and, i'm not a baptist, i am apostolic. but, i think those who does play their music loudly or discussing what went on in their church services in a distorted loudness is just trying to show off. for, if one is truly under the grace of God you need not to try to prove it to others by loudness, whether of music or speaking of sermons or bible studies. to me they are just wanting others to know that they attend church, but, spirituialty shows and doesn't have to be mocked by loudness. and being in the work place the music should be kept at a minimum sound, so as not to distract fellow workers, so they are being disobedient on that one front.
perhaps, when they aren't at work they listen to other kinds of music and play that loudly as well.

being a "holy roller" religious type gets you off the hook of having to take responsibility for you life or your actions - it's easy (and probably fun) to treat people like garbage and use them if all you have to do to is say you're sorry to an imaginary being that lives in a big castle in the sky - then your slate is wiped clean and you can do it again - their karma will balance their life out one way or another
