Yes. Its spreads through oral to fecal transmission. As from one persons hands to your hands then you touch your mouth. Or transfered to a door knob or other commonly handled objects, where one person then another is touching them.

Yes, Extremely contagious. I work in a hospital, and when a pt has C Dif, we immediately put them in isolation. Also, the C Dif bacteria has mutated and now we are seeing resistant strains which are only treatable with oral Vancomycin.

Yes! Highly and it stinks having it....literally! If you have it or come in contact with other people that have it, you need to protect yourself....wear gloves, wash your hands....in the hospital, we gown up when someone is positive for C-diff. The spores for c-diff can live outside the body for several months. BE CAREFUL!

C-Diff is highly contageous and you should wash your hands very thoughrally after touching anything the person with it has touched. The person needs to be treated with an antibiotic such as flagyl.
