Serious recommendation: THE POWER OF NOW by Eckhart Tolle talks directly about time & our experience of it. It's very readable, you can get it @ Amazon , Borders, lots of places.

The Left Hemisphere of the Brain keeps up with Time, the Right Hemisphere of the Brain does not.
When you operate out of the Right Hemisphere, you lose Track of Time.
