I would get a body acne wash and use it regularly. However to tell the truth it sounds more like ingrown hairs...they also cause a cyst not unlike a pimple. You can still use the wash and see if it helps...or if that does not help, you could be allergic to either the soap or laundry detergent you are using...you can hit on exactly what it is by process of elimation...and you may want to switch to a hypoallergenic laundry detergent too.

There is no sure fire cure to this, but if you keep touching your back and butt you can make it worse. Stop touching it and keep the area clean, with a wash rag and soap but no hands, the oils and squeezing and picking at it makes it worse.
Also, Tigerlily is right. It could be an allergic reaction to something. You can try an allergy test by applying the alleged allergen to your skin then place a band aid over it. Leave it there for a couple of hours. When you take it off and there is welt there you have an allergy on your hands.

You need to keep these areas cleaner to start. Then you need to get some Mary Kay ance gel, and have someone put this on you every morning and night. Youll see a difference the next day. Within a week, itll be almost gone.
As for a cleanser, DONT use a cleanser thats for acne, use a cleanser for sensitivetive skin, something that doesnt mention acne. They will only make it worse.

Buy an anti-acne medication that contains salicylic acid (don't know if I spelled that right). Don't use benzoil peroxide products because they'll bleach your clothes unless you want to wait around for 10-15 minutes for the lotion to dry completely before you put your clothes on. Proactiv has a good line of body soaps for acne called Clear Zone.

Mark by Avon sells a product that is specifically for treating acne on your back. I don't see why you couldn't try it on your butt too.
