I used mine for heating frozen pizza, bagals, etc. Basically anything you want to heat up crispy. Microwave ovens tend to make things soggy, like heated up french fries, onion rings, etc. The toaster oven crisps them when heated and takes a shorter amount of time to heat than the big oven. Hope this helps.

A toaster oven comes in handy on many occasions. Not only can you quickly and easily cook smaller meals and snacks, you can also teach your kids how to whip something up without worry. Toaster ovens are simple to use. They work like your regular oven, but they are more convenient and require less energy.

The following are some great advantages to using a toaster oven:
You do not have to heat up the whole kitchen
You will use less energy
You can use it while you use the oven
Easy clean up
Even kids can use a toaster oven
Toaster ovens do not take up too much room

Anything you can make in an oven, you can make ina toaster oven.

Keep in mind 2 things: portion size; temperature and time - and you will be just fine.

The portion size must be small, otherwise it will not fit in the toaster oven.

Temperature needs to be adjusted lower and the cooking time a little less. The toaster oven is smaller, less space for heat to dissapate and will tend to stay hotter. The food is also closer to the heating elements and wil cook faster - so you must watch the food until you get used to it.

Try a basic grilled chees sandwich to get a feel for it. Place two slices of breat, lightly buttered on the outside and cheese in the middle. Out the entire made sandwich in the toaster oven at 250 deg and keep an eye in it so it doesn't burn. It should take about 5-8 mins to brown & melt.

Experiment!

Well, I have all that and a toaster oven too. It is great in the summer when you want to use the oven but not heat up the house. It's smaller so it doesn't create as much heat. It is also so much easier to clean. Of course you can't fit a whole pizza in it but it warms up left over pizza in a jiff. Try that in your toaster, and yuk, forget the mic. It's great for frozen burritos and such and if you want to toast large bagel's, or defrost frozen bread products in a jiff, then turn on the toaster oven!

well, a toaster oven warms things up like an oven, but much quicker. You can use it to keep rolls or bread warm while your cooking the rest of the batch or the meal, you can make snacks with it, or use it as a quick substitute for your toaster or oven. It lets you cook more things at once, because you can use it even when the rest of your appliances are being used.

it is useful as you can make hot sandwiches, Cinnamon toast heating hot dog buns melt the butter on toast or bagels. basically any toasting or brazing you can do in your oven however for much less expense and time as the Toaster oven is much smaller so uses a lot less electric then the stove plus it produces a lot less Excess heat so great for summer when you fighting summer heat.
also there are reason to do many of the things you do in the microwave in the Toaster oven instead as microwaving food loses vitamins during the Microwaving process that are not lost in heating in a oven
so unless Unless you have a microwave-convection oven it can be very useful especially for just one or two people
here is also two link for Toaster oven recipes
for all those looking to replace their microwave oven I highly recommend getting a microwave- convection oven as they work both as a High end quality microwave as well as a toaster oven
with an added features of combining both heat to brown and micowaves to speed up cooking

A toaster oven can be used to cook pretty much anything that will fit inside, but my experience is that it is great for food that you would typically use a microwave for (ie: frozen foods and such), but it is also great for reheating foods (leftovers) especially pizza, so it doesn't come out chewy.

confident!! in simple terms turn down the warmth by using like 25-50 stages than the recipes says. (try this by way of fact the toaster oven is lots smaller than a prevalent oven and hence is warmer.) There isnt extremely a time, so in simple terms watch them (examine em each and every couple of minutes) and you should be fantastic!
