I'm sorry, but this is not the time or place to be concerned with getting noticed by a boy. This not a dance. It is a serious commitment you are making. If I were him & took this commitment seriously I would be offended that you used this occasion for anything other than that which it is.

Just wear a little brighter make up that day and a bit more mascara, to add affect try to blink a bit more that usual not to much that gives a desperate look. And if you think that he hasn't noticed you by the end of the night then go over to him asnd start a casual conversation and then throw in the question, Will u go out wit me.
