Why single out french fries when there is at least as much fat in pies, cakes, pizza, milk, butter, chrisps, fried chicken, sausages, burgers, fried fish, anything else with batter, korma curry, pancakes, ice cream etc etc.

If you are going to think like that you may as well stop eating and die if you think that will make you healthier.

Yes but I would be disappointed if the fries themselves weren't fat.

i stopped buying them with a sandwhich or any meal from a restaurant years ago - tho i still cook up a batch of fresh ones from yukon gold potatoes at home every now and then - when i thought of them as carbs carbs carbs.

At moment I only by them once a month .... because of their fatty taste .... but this little bargains probably would persist, even if the name would be more realistic ..... I mean, one sin per month should be allowed by our nutrition Gods

yes because eating too much of any diet food can give the same results. My stomach will be happy even if life and people are not.
