It's going to take a little training, but she's young and impressionable so she may get the idea within a week or so. You have to be calm and firm, and consistent with your commands and expectations.

Don't use shaker cans or other adversives while training a puppy. That teaches them nothing except to be afraid of you.

Also, don't chase after your dog and then yell at or swat her because she didn't come when called. This teaches her that when you call, she'll be punished: she won't ever want to come to you.

Instead, try this technique:

Try starting off with with a "sit/stay" command while the dog is on a leash, and then call her to you. When she responds the way you want her to, give her lots of praise and a treat.

Once she's successful at coming to you on the leash, start training her to come to you when you're not holding the leash. Put the leash down, give her the "sit/stay" command, and then call her to you. Again, when she responds the way you want her to, give her lots of praise and a treat.

Then try extending the distance between you and the dog. Leash down; sit/stay; call her to you...

She'll get the idea that coming back to you will get her lots of positive reinforcement.

Traqining takes a lot of patience, time and repitition. Rewards for good behavior. Do not hit the dog when it misbehaves. Use a can filled with pennies, marbles or rocks shake it when you need to let the dog know it is misbehaving.
