I have a mature Corgi Mix and recently adopted a miniature datschund. The puppy is only 10 weeks old and about 4 lbs, while my Corgi Mix is 4 years old and about 60lbs of all muscle. Lady (Corgi) is usually pretty tame, but Clifford (puppy) is testing her patience. He's very playful and wants her attention like she's his momma. Lady has been pretty patient, but she starting to tip him over w/her nose and nudge him when he comes near - if he disturbs her nap, she growls at him and while she hasn't bitten him, she has pinned him on his back at the neck and once picked him up by the nape of his neck and tossed him. The puppy takes it all in stride and keeps coming back for more.

If the male dog has a lot of spirt a great name is Fireball. My dog when I was young had the name. He never reach higher than my caff and he was a ball of energy. He was not afraid of german shepards and a great protector of me as i was growing up. He kelp me from getting run over by a car once. Kelp me from getting attacked by bigger dogs too. I have great memories of the ball of fire. He was sweet and kind too. But he took his job of keeping me out of trouble to heart. If your puppy turns out to be half the dog Fireball was . Then you will be one lucky person, as I was.
I still miss him, even after 23 years since he pastaway.

I think a name like Fritz or Frankie would be good. Smaller names that make them sond small and F names always work for them!!

I had one named Fritz, but I always thought Schnitzel would be cute, too. Or Brutus, or Bruno. Give him a good German name, to celebrate his heritage.
