if I’m at a party, how should I approach a girl and introduce myself? should I just go up 2 her and tell her my name, or should I try to catch her eye first?

too easy ,if someone catches your eye first see if they don't obviously have a b/f ,if the coast is all clear than walk up and introduce yourself,and go from there.

Well if you have a chance to catch her eye, definitely do so...but seeing as how you dont always get the chance to do so at parties, i would say go up and talk to her...something casual and comfortable. A lot of the times guys are afraid to walk up to a girl and just talk to her because of how she'll react but if you can just say something funny (not pick up lines) or just come off as "non-threathening" we'd be more than happy to have a conversation with you. But make sure before you go and speak to her, you have a strong foundation of what to say, it really sucks when someone comes up to talk to you and 10 seconds into introducing yourselves, you have nothing but awkward moments. Just relax, be yourself, and don't come off too eager. If it doesn't work out, don't fret, don't stop making the 1st move (we love guys to do so) and just learn from your experience....good luck, man!

Catch her eye first. Bring up a subject and ask about it. Look at her. Flirt with her. Then make conversations and start introducing.

Being bold, but polite is a good thing in my book. Trying to catch her eye could be weird - what happens if she doesn't look at you? or if she thinks you're looking at someone else? Or just thinks you're a freak? So just walk up and say hi :)

.... the best thing i can say to you is just be genuine... be yourself(unless yourself is a nervous tounge twisted blob of emotions and dreams of getting an actual number that will NEVER and i mean NEVER come true).... because the thing i hate the most (and i'm a girl)... is for someone to act a ceartin way when we first meet or tell me they are a ceartin way and then they are exactly opposite and expect me to be cool with it!!!..... and if you do try and catch her eye...please...please... dont do something stupid.... no one wants to see your bare behind okay?.... just telling you!!!...LOL....

You can. It is a party and she should expect some attention. If you really want to be proper go to your host and ask your host to introduce you to her.

be outspoken not afraid go up to her introduce yourself get her to talk about herself if she doesn't shes not interested dance a few times during dances u can be quiet and dont have to talk
