i need infomation on beagles those cute little dogs with floppy ears but not a hound dog.

Umm, Beagles ARE hound dogs! They are scent hounds and will follow their nose relentlessly. You can never trust them off leash as they will ignore everything once they are on a scent. And some don't do well around small animals or cats. They aren't just cute little dogs. An extremely common beagle trait is digging and howling when bored. Please do a LOT of research before getting one.

there are lots of books that cover everything from species history, to choosing your puppy, to training, to how to handle an eventual loss. Beagles are wonderful, loving & loyal dogs. they are a handfull as a pup, so if you are considering getting one, make sure you have the time and energy to devote to your pup and you will have the best friend you have always asked for!
