Don't try to dye it back.
Wast of money and time. It will not work. I have a friend who did the same.
You could try getting your eyebrows threaded and asking the girl to thin them out for you at the same time.
It's pretty cheap (about £4) and she can not only shape them, but take hairs out from throughout the brow as well so it doesn't appear so dense. Then as the new hair grows through it should start to take over the colour.
Unfortunately eyebrows take about 6 - 9 weeks to totally renew, so you are gonna be stuck with these babies for a little while. Try to learn to love them.

If its fresh, try to scrub any excess that got on your skin. Use soap and water. If that doesnt help try maybe some peroxide. It may be able to bleach some of it off your skin so it doesnt look too dark.

Be careful not to get it in your eyes.

Do NOT try to dye it back! To get out black dye you have to strip your hair or bleach it and then dye it brown because brown will not cover up black dye!

If it isnt on your skin, but you dont like the look of the dark eyebrows, try thining them just a little so it doesnt look too bold. Dont go crazy with the tweezers!

You could also try some cleansing shampoo. Some shampoos that say cleansing will usually strip whatever is in your hair, including dye. It may not get it all, but it may look a bit less harsh with some good gentle scrubbing.

Im sorry it didnt turn out how you expected. Good luck. :)

Keep washing it.. :)
Ok. Use makeup remover and goever again and again. It'll soften a little. Also you can use a lighter hair color to color it again. But be carefull check the back of the box make sure you wont end up with orange or green eyebrows. Use a decent color. And after that you have to wash more to make sure it'll look softer.

Oh my that was cute, satyricon.

pluck and trim?

I'm not aware of eyebrow dyes, and I know there's warnings on hair dyes saying trying to dye eyebrows can cause blindness so I would definitely consult a professional before you attempt to dye them again.

That depends on how dark your hair is, if its very dark and you have thick eye brows, get them plucked/shapped, it will make them look slightly better and not so prominent. otherwise go to a beauty salon and ask them to lighten them for you.

next time just leave them alone, its better to have eyebrows too light then too dark.

wash them reeeealy good. many many many times. then get some lemon juice and put it on ur eyebrows. sit in the sun. lemon juice is a natural bleach, so it should make them lighter. but only if u sit in the sun!

You'll have to re-dye them. Until you do that you can put some translucent powder over them or a lighter eyeshadow - light light brown or a light golden.
