there's a 10 year old girl that is now pregnant(by her stepfather who sexualy abused her) she has a very hard decision she can either abort or have it but they can both hurt her phyicaly and mentaly.(she's catholic and her religion won't forgive her for aborting)

Until I just heard this, I did not believe in abortion. But given this situation I feel to abort is the only way to go. Even if she was 16 Id probably say to have it, and maybe give for adoption or something. But you are talking about a 10 year old LITTLE GIRL. There is no way I can fathom a little child like that giving birth and dealing with all that goes with it. How far along is she?? God, my heart just breaks for her. That man needs to be HURT real bad.

Her emotional,physical health is in jeopardy. She is in NO position to have a child or to be a mother. The Catholic church needs to clean up it's molestation messes and quit enabling perps by brushing things under a carpet.
What she does is between her and God and no1 else can judge her. Give her a chance abort the fetus.
The more pressing probelm is what is being done to the rapist and child molester.
God will forgive a child who is not at an age of accountability.

The pregnancy was a result of rape and a 10 year old child is in no position to care for a baby.
The abortion is probably her best alternative. If she has it done in the first trimester, the physical effect will be inconsequential.
As far as her religious beliefs are concerned. For an action to be a sin. She must know it's a sin, and she must give her full conscent. Is she really able to fully comprehend the entire situation? If not then she will be foregiven when she is older and if she has true contrition for her actions......If it really is a sin in the first place.

It is a hard decision but the baby is an innocent and has no say in this matter.I don't believe in abortion but that doesn't mean she needs to keep the baby.The young girl will need counseling no matter what route she chooses if her life is ever to be normal for her in the future.

The Bible says that the life of the flesh is in the blood
The Law says shedding of blood is a crime
To take a life is murder
The gift of a child is a blessing and this child must
take this gift but the one that hurt this child the Bible
says that it would be better that he had never been born.
This young child need's the support of family, friends and
the church. Prayer is the key to her decision

abortion is murder no matter how you look at it. that child didn't ask to be created. the 10 year old should have loving support from the sane adults in her life and give the baby up for adoption. there are so many people waiting to love a baby. the 10 year old should be in counseling too.

Is it you? I'd get an abortion because "this girl" will not be able to get a good education and it' not fair to have your first baby, be one that ruined your life. I am Catholic too and I know God will forgive you because he knows that it wasn't your fault and it's too dangerous. The stepfather can go to hell but the girl will be forgiven if she prays and does it for a good reason, which it is.

Cases of incest or sexual abuse are the only reason that I would condone abortion. What is she to do if she does have it? Adoption? I wouldnt take a chance with a 10 yr olds life.

I am so against the killing of unborn babies who are ALWAYS the innocent victim.
But I'd like to speak to the real issue here: the person who sexually molested and impregnated her. This man should be put away for EVER. I personally am in favor of bringing back the old courthouse hanging tree for monsters like this person.

I feel so sorry for the 10 year old. she can go to a catholic place where there are girls like her waiting to give birth and she will get through it easier, and give the baby up for adoption. nobody should kill a baby.
