So in other words, you would be talking to a male or to yourself perhaps? I don't really get your question... But to my understanding, if you say something "wrongly" about someone, Regardless if they are there or not, is wrong to begin with.

Well, My husband is usually right. So, what is your point? I even always admit when I am wrong. Except when I don't understand what I did or said that was wrong.
