I think they're only illegal in certain states. But there are many states where better protective weapons are legal. Both tasers and mace are legal in Florida.

yes brass knuckles are illegal in TX its a class b misdemeanor 180 days county jail and a 2000.00 fine if you want to carry something for defense get either pepper spray or a baseball bat. this brings me to bats which are illegal since they are clubs; however if you carry a baseball bat in a sports bag with a glove and baseballs then it becomes a sport item which if you use in self defense was a weapon of opportunity in self defense which is perfectly legal and also it doesnt matter if you are 15 you can buy anything other than a handgun by federal law. if you want to carry a knife i would suggest some training like silat etc because if you pull a knife on someone like me whos trained in that area you will most definately regret it, and sadly enough though i work as a police officer there are many people out there who are on the wrong side of the law who have the same training as i do or even better. be wise in choosing something to defend yourself with dont break any laws of your city state or federal government. when i was younger i always carried pepper spray. hope i helped

Florida law prohibits the sale or ownership of brass knuckles. If found on you, you could be charged with felony weapon possession.

However, Florida has no laws concerning knives as long as they are in plain view.

You're too young to be carrying a weapon, anyway. Even if they WERE legal, you wouldn't be allowed to have them.

Yes, they are illegal to carry. You can own one but it can not be carried with you or in a car. I would not suggest carrying any weapon especially since you are only 15. If the person attacking you didn't bring his own weapon, you just provided it to him. He'll take it from you and stick it up your a**.

they are illegal in texas. all staes differ.
depending on your kinfe it may be illgal.
i would not think the lighter would be a problem./
try keeping yourself out of sitautions where you would be fighting or have to protect yourself and you will not have to worry too much about weapons charges which could be very serious.

Yes, if they are hidden it is carrying a concealed weapon. If not hidden the charge is reduced to just poss. of brass knuckles.
