Send them home and take total control of our borders. It's not that border control is hard, it's just hard finding the politicians with enough guts to lose the hispanic votes in order to get it done. It must be done!

First of all, get the facts. Illegals do not drain America. Studies hae been done and published showing that their contribution is, overall, marginally positive to this country's well being. By and large, they take up jobs that many Americans do not care to labor because Americans have the social safety net.
It is also true that some of the illegals do take up some jobs that had they not been here, would have been taken by American. These are the minority.
What should we do? Live and let live. This country was founded on illegals from way back when. If they have proven productive and contribute to the society, it is all to the good. Otherwise, send them back to where they came from so that they would not, as you put it, drain this country.

unlawful immigration reasons many issues it rather is for useful. this is an common fact. Given your estimate of 20 million illegals permit's proceed from there. permit's say even a million/3 of them are retaining jobs. that's totally almost 7 million human beings in the artwork rigidity. Contributing to the tax base and so on. that could bypass away 7 million job vacancies. would our usa have the flexibility to deal with that many leaving the artwork rigidity? probable no longer. would individuals step into those jobs for the pay offered? probable no longer. agencies base line is income. would they strengthen wages to get individuals to artwork those jobs? probable no longer. extra agencies would start to outsource. for that reason leaving many individuals out of jobs that now carry jobs. Our entire usa would crumple and the great melancholy would seem as though a cakewalk. As i've got suggested unlawful immigration is misguided and desires to quit. yet we additionally could be sensible on deporting as you're saying 20 million human beings. have faith me...it is not going to take place for various motives. So we could circulate forward and picture of sensible procedures to handle the region to hand and likewise insure the unlawful project is stemmed sooner or later. extra beneficial border protection and visa platforms could be dealt with first and optimum so the region does not progressively worsen. as quickly as the bypass is stopped we are in a position to then artwork on what to do with those already right here.

Give them a certain amount of time to leave on their own.The ones that wish to try to become legal must leave by a Border check point and the paper for their requests filled out and filed. They would then go to their home country to wait for permission to immigrate, legally.
After a certain time then systematically begin to round them up and deport them slowly, use the FEMA camps as a holding area until they can be deported. If you don't do it on your own then you would never get the chance to be legal and if caught in the USA you will be sent to prison and then deported again. The government estimates that over half will leave on their own, another 40% would go thru the check points leaving only 10% to be arrested and deported. That amount can be handled.in the FEMA camps.

Give them social security cards ...so they can join the rest of us paying taxes to the government. Imagine if all those illegal immigrants started paying taxes, all you people that feel you are SO drained would have extra money in your paycheck. I am sure the government would be sending YOU the revenue!! RIGHT?

the only thing being drained here is your emotional energy. Place the focus on the almost 50% here that came with visa mostly from the middle east. You are helping them by your distraction.

Round 'em up and give them their choice: Deportation or they can go to Iraq and fight in Bush's little war. Most will run back across the border so fast that all you'll see will be the dust churned up behind them.

Years ago, citizenship was granted to aliens who had successfully completed an enlistment in the military.
But it would not necessarily be a good idea to have millions of infantry-trained illegals.

instead of spending multi-billions on government red tape crap, there should be processing stations started for the purpose of checking legal status of citizenship based on fingerprints and other bodily identifiable parts, and have them all shipped back at the expense of their government who should be helping in the crack down on illegal movement through their own country
