There isn't a urine test like there is for humans, but betweens days 25 and 27 or so after conception, you can take the dog to the vet for them to palpitate (feel) for signs of pregnancy. It's a narrow window for this to be possible, too soon and the growing puppies aren't big enough to feel, wait too long and the enlarging uterine horns and fluid prevent being able to feel the puppies.

Day 30 or later, after conception, you can have an ultrasound done to see if there's puppies.

Also around 30 days after conception, the dogs belly will begin to show some. More of a thickening and that changes quickly as the canine pregnancy is usually only 63 days.

Also, around day 57 or so, you can have an x-ray done to count puppies that way.

Ultrasounds and x-rays are not 100% fool-proof in telling you how many puppies there are (as some can hide behind others), but it is good at diagnosing a pregnancy.

Good luck

More losers!!! Why the heak would you breed if you are broke???? To make some extra cash??? What if you end up with a dog that needs a c-section...or a puppy that needs to see a vet? What are you going to do if the mother needs to see a vet prior to the birth????

You are the kind of person that makes many of us sick. No money for a vet, yet you let the dog get pregnant,

Good luck!!!

You CANNOT do a pregnancy test on the dogs URINE. FOr dogs there is a pregnancy test, but it requires BLOOD...and YOU do not have money.

Well, I'm sorry you can't afford a vet, but a human pregnancy test isn't made for dogs and just won't work. If you are trying to get her pregnant, then good luck, and you'll be able to see a bump soon enough. If you hope she isn't pregnant than I hope with you! There are too many loose dogs running around from owners not being careful. Please consider neutering her. It would save many dogs from trouble.

There is no pregnancy tests for dogs, the only way to determine early on if your dog is pregnant is to take her to the vet and have some x-rays done. Or you can wait and see if her belly is getting big or not.

Well, you can try.
Both of our beagles are spay and we don't have that worry. But they also won't lets us get close while they're peeing, they tend to get excited and stop so they can run around like fools.
Maybe try to collect it as she's peeing? Gees, I don't know if she'd let you do that but she might.
