- beer (cans are cheaper, bottled tastes better)
- ice (both for keeping the beer cold and for mixing drinks)
- pepsi/diet pepsi, 7 up
- Liquors to make mixed drinks: vodka, light rum, whiskey
- Premixed stuff is good if you don't have a lot of experience in mixing- TGI Fridays has a lot of different ones like Mudslides, Hurricanes, etc
- Depending on what kind of party it is, wine might be good as well.
