i need an extractor program that is totally free, i've tried WinZIP and WinRAR already, and they didnt work out too well, i need one that is mainly for .zip and .rar files, but only one program

i've tried 7-zip and Extract now, and they keep saying that there's some kind of "fatal error"

right click the file windows xp bulit in extractor will extract the files for you .you can download rar extractor from http://www.download.com

try using finding a Commander software cuz I use Total Commander and it unpacks any archive ever made

You can try going to http://www.trident-software.com/ and download the 45 day trial. This unzips everything.
