You can gain a little more. it won't hurt you. You are not that tall really.. so about maybe a 10 - 15 more pounds would be alright.
Try not to worry.. you will be under a doc's care, so she will make sure you are on the right track..and eating the right things.. just follow her advice.

85 pounds is way to little.. you maybe don't even get your periods at that size. Not to healthy. Trust your Doctor.

I am 21 years old and I am afraid I am fat, But I am not! It's ok to gain some weight it's good for you. but if you wanna stay looking good. exercise! Go take a walk, Walk home from school, to a friends house, walk any where! ride a bike. Do a little something everyday. I promise you wont look back if you gain10 15 pounds. I am 5'1 and I weight 120, and people don't think I am big. You just have to look healthy. And another thing. you have to be happy in your body, if your not you will always think your to fat or to skinny. Let your self gain some weight and do some exercise, you'll feel GREAT!

It depends on your bone frame. Being five feet tall though, 85 would be too small for even a small one. Besides if your doctor is telling you to gain weight, then you really should listen. They only tell you that if you are underweight. He will help you get to a weight that is healthy, you'll also be prettier. I never understood why people think they have to be skin and bones to be cute, most guys won't agree with that. Being underwieght can lead to various illesses so listen to your doctor, just let him know your fear, he will know what to do. Besides even according to the charts a 13 yr old that is 5 feet tall should be at least 100 lbs to be healthy, and them charts undercut it by a lot. So just listen to your doctor please. You wouldn't want to get sick trying to be skinny. Being your healthy wieght will make you look more like a woman, and will make your skin and hair healthier looking. Plus you will have more energy, it's those things that are attractive in a woman, not bones. Good luck and stay healthy. I hope this helps.

Did you lose the weight by not eating or by eating and purging? Are you anorexic or are you bulemic? If you are, ask yourself this question "What is worse weighing ten pounds more than I do now or being dead"? If you lost the weight because you have an eating disorder, that is not the answer. At thirteen, you should not be worrying about your weight at all.

Do what your mom and the doctor want you to do and live and be healthy and enjoy life.

Do not read fashion and movie magazines because they encourage girls to be as skinny as possible. Just love yourself and look after yourself by eating healthy foods and keeping active, but don't try to keep active if you are not eating well because you will most certainly end up in the morgue.

If you are afraid of getting fat, then dont get fat. Gain enough weight to be healthy... 85 pounds is the size of an average 11 year old girl. plus, i will be honest with you. There arent too many "real" guys that like bone thin girls, and I know you are about at that age! how about 105? good luck!

There's a different between getting fat and getting healthier. You are way too skinny for a 5 feet person. You should be at least 100 pounds.. at most 110 pounds. ONce you get to 110, then you should be worrying about getting "fat". You are no where near, child. So stop losing weight again.. you don't want to look anorexic, ok? Good luck!

Eat well.
As much fresh fruit/veggies as U want, drink at least a pint of milk ( semi-skimmed if U can't handle full-fat ) a day.
U really need it 4 UR bones.
It's natural & refreshing 2 hear of a fellow lass, who's afraid of getting fat.
I think it's a healthy attitude 2 have considering we're surrounded by Obesity.
U could afford 2 gain just a lil more weight but not if it makes U unhappy.
Look after URself.
:)

Gaining weight doesn't necessary means getting fat. You can gain weight by gaining muscle with makes you look even better than just being thin and also makes you healthier. Make sure you keep your appointments with your doctor as long as and as often as he wants. It is important to be sure that there is nothing medically wrong.
Also make sure you eat healthy and exercise. Hamburgers and french fies will help you gain weight but not the kind of weight you want to gain, they just make you get fat. Lean meat, chicken and fish will supply your body with protein which will help you build muscle along with regular and proper exercise. There are different types of exercise that can help you gain weight by building your muscles. Make sure you eat a balance diet of protein, vegetables and fruit.
don't be scared of gaining weight, just make sure that you are gaining muscle weight not fat weight.

Don't be scared of getting fat, you won't. If the Doc wants to see you every two weeks and says that you need to gain weight, listen to him. your Mother loves you and wants you to be well, she is obviously worried that you are making yourself ill.
Try not to be preoccupied with weight, too thin is every bit as bad as too fat. 95lb at 5 feet tall is certainly not fat.

stop looking at pounds and look at body fat percentage. Weight is really unimportant as we are all build differently.

Go for a 13% to 18% body fat for a young girl and lose the scale.

(obviously eat a balance diet yes with carbs, fat and protein screw Atkins and other fad diet lame *** stuff)

don't be afraid "fear is the mind killer"
