relax, you have to learn to not be so serious all the time. who cares that people yell at you? if it's constructive criticism it's one thing, they are really trying to help you. but if they are just being idiotic, don't pay them any attention, they don't desrve it.

Depends... just because YOU feel something isn't your fault.. doesn't mean that's actually the case..
You can witness that everyday just watching those corny judge shows on tv..

If someone is yelling at me.. it depends exactly why they are yelling at me...
If someone is yelling at me while driving.. and they think I did something stupid.. I just ignore them.
If I'm in a store and someone is yelling at me... I pretty much ignore them too..

I guess it boils down to... Why I'm being yelled at and do I personally know this person... Unless someone is having a bad day and they are taking it out on me.. people don't generally just scream and yell at you for no reason.. So I try to get to the bottom of why they are so angry..
If you're talking about your parents yelling at you.. Well then I listen to what they say and not try to set them off any further.

I have found it is best to first ask them to please calm down and you will be willing to hear them out. If they are not willing to do, you cannot allow yourself to be subjected to verbal abuse. It is not healthy. And if this is going on in front of anyone else, especially children, you need to stop it imminently. If the person is not going to respect your wishes to calm down before it situation can be resolved in a mature manner, this is probably not someone who should be in your life. Hope this helps.

Depends on the situation. If it is my boss, I will let him or her yell and then confront the person later when they have calmed down. If it is at home, I will tell whoever it is to calm down and then talk it out.

well if you did not do anything wrong i do not think you should just take it...i lived with a abusive husband for 23 years and i took his garbage...well it has did me damage...i would walk away from them and not listen to what they have to say...you can try saying you are innocent but if they do not want to listen...then get away from them....and you do not need anyone like that in your life....

I can't look at them if I'm being blamed for something. I'll look anywhere but at the ****** screaming. I'd want to punch 'em in the face!
Let them blow off their steam, then walk away.
