I was wondering if I was suffering from Schizophrenia, because I exhibit symptoms and behavior that I know just aren't normal. For instance, I think everyone and God hates me and are out to get me whether they want to kill me, steal my identity, or make me miserable and suffer even though I did nothing to hurt them. I feel that whenever someone does something bad, I'm the one who gets punished for it even though I didn't do it and have no control over what happened. I also think everyone is spying on me wanting to find out my secrets and steal my identity. I feel like my thoughts are being transmitted out loud to the world by the TV and everyone is stealing my thoughts. My thoughts keep leaking out to everyone in the world. I feel like the TV can read my mind or I can read the TV's mind. I think I can make dead things come to life. I think I made my dead cat, dead battery in my watch, and a burnt out lightbulb come back to life. I have imaginary friends who talk to me inside my mind

You need to get some professional help. If you can't afford it states offer free assistance. This kind of behavior unchecked is very serious. So go immediately to your doctor and get referrals for help.

Either you're schizophrenic or you're just like me. If your sympotoms make your life or other's lives around you suck, then maybe you should try and get some help, maybe. Don't let them put you on Haldol or Ceroquil, don't take any Thorazine type meds. They mess up your life, they're like little lobotomies in a pill. A lot of psyhco-therapists are just in in for the money, but a few really do care. Don't assume that your therapist is out to get you, cuz there's a chance he or she isn't. Research any medicine before you take it, find out what it's side effects are.

And more important than anything else, don't let them put you in an asylum. Run away, lash out, do anything, just don't let them lock you up, or your life will be over. Trust me. Or don't, but I'm a bit like you and I've gone through a lot. Good luck, I hope your life goes okay.

You have given a very clear description of your symptoms, and you have used grammar very well. This tends to show that you do NOT have schizophrenia, because your mind is organized. However, these are definitely symptoms of psychosis, and these symptoms could be caused by several things. I'm going to give you a couple of possibilities, but you MUST go to a psychiatrist, get diagnosed, and get on a medication to treat the brain disease that is causing these symptoms.

Again, you MUST go to a doctor and get medicine for your brain disease.

Things that can cause psychosis besides schizophrenia are:
bipolar disease;
Major depression -- this is a medical condition, not just sadness;
brain tumor.

So, honey, go to the doctor, and I wish you well. I will pray for God's blessing and healing on you.

Please see a psychiatrist or other doctor soon. Since you still have insight into the bizarre nature of your thinking it doesn't seem like you're psychotic...yet. People who are psychotic have absolute belief in their delusions and do not question them. What you're describing sounds like the prodromal symptoms of schizophrenia. Paranoid ideation and delusions are non-specific and are common in many illnesses. Thinking that the TV is transmitting your thoughts and that others can hear your thoughts is called "thought broadcasting". Thought broadcasting is a common symptom of schizophrenia but is quite unusual in other forms of psychosis. See a mental health professional SOON. Medication can control these symptoms. Otherwise they will most likely become severe and you will lose insight and contact with reality.

A person that is suffering from schizophrenia is not normally aware that the things they are experiencing are not real. To the contrary it is almost impossible to convince them they are ill and need medication.
The fact that you seem to be aware of the fact that these feelings are not normal would make me think you may not have schizophrenia, but may be paranoid and anxious. Either way you really need to see a psychiatrist and seek out why you feel this way. Good luck to you!

The symptoms you state indicate paranoid psychosis or drug induced psychosis, if you are serious about what you say I would see my doctor and ask him for a referral to a psychiatrist.

If you are taking any kind of drug or alcohol I suggest you stop immediately, and try to eat more food and get some sleep, your brain is an organ of your body and it needs food and sleep not abuse

A real schitzophrenic would not tell you all that crap. They wouldn't think there was anything wrong with them! If you were truly paranoid why would you tell the entire enternet your issues? Doesn't make sense! But your symptomology is right.
