Ladies - here is my situation:

Both of us are in college - she is 19, I'm 21. We have a class together.

I first met this girl that I like for coffee last Sunday - it was our first meeting outside of class. It was the "typical" first date - each of us asking the other various questions to get to know the other better.

It seemed to go okay - she told me via Facebook afterwards that she liked talking to me, and that she wouldn't mind meeting up again sometime.

I have tried to talk to her after class, make chit-chat, etc, and the problem I have is this: She will answer the questions I ask her and respond to things I bring up in conversation - but she won't talk, initiate conversation, or ask me questions!

This makes me feel awkward, because I am the one doing all of the asking/making all of the effort to talk/keep a conversation going.

How can I make her feel more comfortable/willing to talk to me - I want her to be able to ask me things and talk to me about herself too

be blunt and ask her why she responds to you with short answers.. ask her if you make her uncomfortable during a conversation... let her know you find her adorable if thats the case and see what she says.

One question: Is she the quiet type?
If yes, then u have to accept her as she is. Making things more interesting like taking her to places which requires less talking and more of a body language thing.
Like the movies, games, beach.. picnics..fishing..coz wat i know is girls with less vocab, has great body language. U gotta be more aware and appreciative of her movements..
Quiet girls will only open up when u hit the right topic or u click..
that, my friend requires time.. and trust and opening up..
so be patient.. so take her to a place where she can relax that maybe could make her laugh..
more vocal..

And sometimes girls maybe when they like u,they get nervous...
Or they r not used to guys..family no guys or less communication with guys..or shy..

all of this, if u wanna break the ice on it...just make her laugh..
Laughter is the best medicine..

Okay??
Goodluck man

All my existence, I used to be raised that females (or I) are meant to develop up as housewife and handle my husband. I began doing condominium paintings on the age of four. I used to be competent to do each and every style of labor by means of age 7, besides for cooking. As I grew up, my father and mother perspectives difference and I could have a profession so long as I used to be a housewife. It is customized in my household to slave over the condominium even as all of the husband do is pass to paintings and do not anything after wards. Now, I can do this and paintings even as the husbands regulations keep the equal. As I grew up extra, I uncover those regulations a bit unfair. Me and my sisters slaved over the condominium even as my brothers did not anything. That is how I grew to be a feminist. Don't get me fallacious, I did the paintings. I simply specific my believes in phrases. I stay one till a specified factor in my existence, my senior 12 months in top tuition. I used to be watching for a study subject and being a feminist, females's rights and inequality closer to females. As I study it, my subject difference. I got here throughout a article of guys's discrimination. I got here to discover that what I consider sounded hypocritical. I simply see the prejudice that is going on closer to guys, too. I suppose that is simply fallacious and no person thinks that it is not anything. And I did not desire to be that manner, so I difference my approaches. I grew to be a non-feminist. I am a humanitarian and combat towards feminist (the hypocrisy side of it) due to the fact I consider in equality closer to everyone in all varieties of occasions. Pretty so much, I see either side of the tale earlier than I make my announcement. Plus, I consider that guys and females can act besides they desire so long as they don't seem to be hurting any one's emotions. I combat for females's proper and guys's rights.
