Yes, we reap the consequences of our sins here on earth. Although we can be forgiven by God for the sins we commit, we may still suffer for what our sins caused.

For example: If a couple who are not married fornicate, and then realize what they did was wrong, and repent, God forgives them immediately. But, if the girl becomes pregnant, or they catch a venereal disease from their copulation, they still must deal with that separately.

Another example: If a thief gets caught stealing and lands in jail, then a chaplain shares the Gospel with him, and he repents, he still must face court, and pay fines and/or receive jail time for his crime.

Yes, we all sin and when we mess up, we pay. When we do good we get rewarded. Sometimes even those who are doing the right thing have to go through some rough times as everyone does. But, for those who are Christians, we understand that God has a reason and that our lives are in His hands and we will be alright because we trust Him.

Bob, I'm noticing you're a bit obsessed about sin. What's going on with that? If your religion has got you thinking about this all the time, maybe it's time to change religions and find one that doesn't make you feel like you and everyone else on Earth is a miserable, worthless, sinning piece of garbage.

Yeah, I think God does give us punishments for our sins. He does this because He loves us. If you have a son or daughter and you saw them doing something dangerous when you told them not to, wouldn't you punish them? But, God is so merciful. We don't even deserve to live since we are sinners, but he gives us a chance.
Ezra 9:13
What has happened to us is a result of our evil deeds and our great guilt, and yet, our God, you have punished us less than our sins have deserved and have given us a remnant like this.

There are so many that it would be too numerous to even make a list of categories. But here's a short one anyhow, just to give you the idea.

sexual sin - disease, mental and emotional anguish, broken marriages,

theft - jail, less opportunity to be gainfully employed

lying - loss of reputation, broken friendships,

Like I said, that's just a very short and incomplete list.
