Check out www.catchaperv.com. Really cool site?

A couple of young guys set it up. They name and shame pervs. Cops are trying to shut them down.

They should. Wouldn't it be great if we could brand people with their various crimes and personality flaws so no one would make the mistake of trusting them?

Just depends what you mean by perv.

30 years ago, homos were pervs. now it seems that to many, they're not.

20 years ago (inUK) oral sex between man and wife was instant grounds for divorce (perverted behavious), not any more though.

Likewise anal sex between husband and wife was a prison offence as well as grounds for divorce. Again, not any more.

All the above were considered to be vile perversions and were condemmned by all sections of society. Today, most people accept most of these as perfectly normal behaviour.

Maybe in 20 years time paedophiles will be accepted by society. who knows. It's only a social assumption at a given time. Social mores change.

Anyway, in the UK, we can well do without vigilante mobs running round killing people as has happened in the US. After all, even here, a doctor was persecuted and her property attacked by the local thugs for having a notice outside her house saying that she was a paediatrician. - No hope for the education system, obviously.

Brilliant idea! Why would cops shut it down? Its not any different than ABC news catching pervs and showing it on TV. The cops are standing by to make arrests.

This kind of sight can be seriously abused if they don't like someone they can name them as a perv on their sight and ruin their reputation and name even though it's not true and they have no solid proof.

Can you say lawsuit?!

All they have to do is get it wrong one time, and they're SOL.

It's a good thing to do if one is a poor fool. Bad for anyone with the sense to have acquired some assets.
