I will use this for my computer backpack so Iwill not accidentally leave it somewhere or if someone takes it when i'm not looking.

I'm not sure what a child promixity alarm is, they must have come out with those since my son was little, but I'd think any place that carries baby/child stuff like Babies R Us. They hay have something at Wal-Mart or Radio Shack maybe, and as for cash most places to accept that as a method of payment ;)

What's a child proximity alarm? Seriously. E-mail me at let me know what one is.

Nevermind. I was so curious I looked it up. It sounds like a great idea for one for your computer. I could total understand why you would want it in that case. (I could have used one for my wallet. I once left a $1500 endorsed paycheck at a gas station.)

But for parents that buy these ~ If your child has wandered twenty feet and it takes an alarm to let you know, you're not doing your job as a parent!

Check out the website for Abilitations- they have child alarms that are supposed to be worn as bracelets, that will sound when moved too far from the base part. You can order them online.
