Maybe that is the only physical need for men, sure. I think there will always be an emotional need for love and companionship. I would not choose to be alone. I love having a husband to share the joy and problems of life. Knowing that I have some the loving strength of my husband at home sometimes gets me through the day. Just hearing his voice on the phone gives me goosebumps.

This is coming from someone who's had the misfortune to grow up in an anti-male age.
In the past it was women who were told all they were needed for was reproduction and now it's guys turn to be told that's all they've been good for. The difficulty is that if you dare trumpet male achievements like those coming from intellectual inventiveness you run the risk of offending women by suggesting that they don't have the same abilities to the same extent.

In reality women cannot do it all even if they are supposed to be equal at everything. There just aren't enough hours in the day. Testosterone makes men goal oriented and risk taking. Men climb mountains and jump out of planes for fun which is something no rational mother with a young child would do. Women are primed to concern themselves mainly with relationships between people and that is essential work.

One day however the world will be inhabitable because the sun is going to stop burning. By that time the human race is going to need to have moved from this planet and solar system. I suggest that it's going to take a serious amount of male driven scientific and technological advance to make that possible.....so rumours of our demise have been greatly exagerated.

Some feminists will try and convince you that the reason women are so under represented in science is that they are the victims of a conspiracy to keep them down. In reality men just tend to be better at science. Sorry everybody but it's true.

If men do not take control of the situation ,then it might happen but you may want to explore the acts after the motion in the ocean what happens to the bonding and the warmth after sex which some men overlook but is needed to heighten the expectancy of future encounters with their males.I do not believe women will allow that unless all the men suddenly are wiped out by a great plague, the other factor which is the most important of all is that men and women complement each other,s emotions, giving it balance like the words YES and NO.

I used to believe that all men were good for was reproducing, but then I got older and realized that they are good for so many other things. I think that even with the cloning and genetic technology, there will still be women out there that will still want to make babies the "old-fashioned" way. Hope this answers your question.

No not at all, there is companionship , love and having a best friend you can always rely on . Lol I think men mostly think of reproduction and sex 24/7 its part of their instinct

Nope, not in my opinion. There are women out there with no desire to have children. Many women want men for themselves, not what children than can create. I take great enjoyment from mine, couldn't imagine life without him.

I believe the day is already here. The option is available for both sides. Both genders are available. It's simply the uses of each that have changed.

Men will have to go the extra mile to get in bed with a woman. They will have to learn how to women better or they'll all become lesbians.

with cloning and such there wont be much need for women either...think about it...all that will be left are drones...workers...no sex will be needed for reproduction...no sex will be more valuable than the other...for any reason...not a world I'd want to be a part of that's for sure...

Gosh! Who said men are needed only for reproduction???? They are also needed for fun, to take out the garbage, to take us girls out on nice dates, to bring home the dough, etc., etc., etc....
Seriously: they are also soul mates...
