I am a breast cancer survivor. Generally, I do not give out information or communicate with the someone who is interested in my situation. However, I believe that you are sincere. I am an English professor and it would probably benefit me to be of assistance to you.
There are so many things that people do not know about that should be detailed. I have no idea why your question is important to me but I will e-mail you and hopefully I can be of some support.

Why don't you contact me here at Yahoo through Answers? I had breast cancer in 1991, mastectomy, chemo, and then, in 2005, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

Bet you are getting a lot of mail on this one. Why don't you go to a local support group meeting and really get a feel for it.
