Im invited to a fun party and i want to know if i can drink since i have taken paxil the last two days?

You shouldn't drink. Why don't you call & ask your doc if this concerns your life....

The thing that I am looking at is you have only been taking Paxil for two days and it takes at least 3 to 4 weeks to get into your system...still if you do choose to drink, I would drink only a very moderate amount...and then start back on your Paxil tomorrow. However it really would be best to stick with your meds because it is only natural that the sooner you get to that 3 to 4 week mark, the sooner you will get them in your system and the sooner they will start to work...I am taking Paxil and tho I do not recommend it explicitly to other people, you can have a glass or two of wine now and then...just do not go overboard with it.

you really shouldn't stop taking paxil for any real period of time because you go thru withdrawl and the symptoms are not fun.
Also it takes a while to get the built up paxil out of your system so drink at your own risk.
If we are talking about a few drink should be no biggie....
however if your a teen looking to get drunk out of your head in order to have a good time////I'd say be very cautious

Even if you do not take the Paxil, it is still in your system. It stays in your system for weeks. I have been on many anti-depressants. It depends on what you are taking the drug for. Alcohol is a depressant which is one reason it doesnt mix with anti-depressants. You should talk to your doctor about the safety of drinking while on Paxil.

No! Do not drink while on Paxil! It will not work and make you sick!

you should be more worried about your depression or anxiety than drinking.... psych. drugs are nothing to mess around with....
