Which one of these names do you like the best?

I think when picking a baby name there are two things to consider. What sounds best with your surname and what is the first thing that springs to mind when the name is mentioned. I don't know your surname so I cant use that in my choice but I will tell you what springs to mind with each name. I think this is important. A friend of mine just had twins (boy and girl) and totally rethought her choices of Margaret and Barny when I told her it made me think of a certain Mrs Thatcher and a big purple dinosaur!
Sterling - I think of silver or the currency of England
Cole - I think of Cole or old king Cole (was a merry old soul...)
Chase - I think of Chase Manhattan or being chased as in pure
Connor - I don't really think of anything except the thousands of little boys who have been called this in the last few years.
Tain - Nothing... very original and unique
Although none of them have bad connections I would go with Tain if it was my decision to make. At least then Tain will be all his and people will only think of him when they hear the name. Also it can't be shortened to something stupid. It's a good solid name. I like it.
That's my feelings on it for what it's worth.
Let us know what you settle on please.

I like Chase and Cole the best. Connor is getting to be too common now.

Connor is the one i like best. I've never heard of Tain before-that's a good thing the last thing you want is ten kids with the same name as yours in a classroom. from those names i least like chase, to many ridicule nickname possibility's there, the same with Cole.
have you considered Evan or Matthew? i really like those.

I'm tied between Chase and Connor. Pick out a middle name and then use it with the names you have. You can decide on the name that works best with the middle name.
