why is it that girls always go for the badass guy who is way too cocky and a complete jackass? and nice guys (like myself) get screwed over and overlooked just b/c we are nice. yeah im in high school but so what, it happens all the time to people and i think its messed up. so ladies why is it that u go out w/ that badass guy and overlook the nice guys? also why is it that u ladies always are so confused when he breaks your heart and u cant figure out why?

I am out of highschool, have been for awhile, and I'll tell you that when you are too you will see that more girls go for the nice guys. Girls in highschool are going through a rebellious stage and want what their parents do not, later they will realize that they want stability and a meaning ful relationship with a man that they can count on and respect...a nice guy. You circumstances will change but don't stop being a "nice guy" please! There are too few of you out there.
Hmm, one more thing, you can be "nice" but don't be a wimp, push-over, unassertive...this will always be unattractive.
Best of luck hon, and be patient. In highschool relationships seldom last and you don't want to go through a lot of unecessary heartbreak just so that you can be dating someone. Think long term.

As frustrating as it is, be patient and you will find the right girl.
Usually immature girls go for those 'bad' guys and once they wise up, they realize how great you nice guys are.
You will be the one that ends up with a loving relationship that lasts, so hang in there.
We have been married for over 40 years and love each other more now than when we got married as I wised up and saw how great a nice guy can be.

Nice guys always seem to finish last but in the end (whenever that is) your the one with the wonderful marriage, great wife, great kids, great life in general and the bad *** girl with the bad *** boys end up miserable. Or in jail together... Be patient you will find a nice girl for yourself.

There are trwo type of guys:badass-for fun and playing and nice guys like u-for long term relationship
