That's up to you really. I'd say that if it's only to put her babies in that's okay, but if you find her sleeping in it, it does defeat the purpose of having the twin bed. Another option is to take her to a toy store and buy her a doll bed. Have her pick out a new blankie for them (fabric remnant, or even recieving blankets work well). They're usually pretty cheap, it'll save space in her room, and it's something she can play with anytime, so it's not a wasted investment.

If she really likes playing with her toddler bed then keep it in her room...but make sure she knows that the toddler bed is only for her dollies. Also on the twin bed but a railing because a lot of kids fall out of them at first. Another suggestion would be to get an actual dollie bed soo she wont get confused whose bed is hers.
Hope I Have Helped =]

When we moved our daughter from a toddler to a bed, it was an bunk bed, twin over a full. She slept on the full. Her transition was pretty uneventful. I took her out and she picked her sheets and a comforter and a new pillow. This help her feel more comfortable in the new bed. We went through the same steps for her brother a year later. Since the lower bunks were closer to the floor, when they fell out, and yes, they did, it was not as traumatic for them. The are 9 and 8 now and have no issues sleeping on either the top or bottom bed.

I left my toddler bed up until my older two daughters were used to their twin beds. I dressed their beds in their favorite characters (this can be as easy as adding a fleece blanket and pillow case!) and made it seem fun too though. As far as their dolls... they took them all to bed with them more often then not. They still do and they are 5 and 7! The baby who is two still uses her toddler bed.

It should be fine, but don't be surprised to find her asleep in the toddler bed. You might want to wait awhile, maybe until she is a bit bigger and a little older for the twin bed. The transition will be much smoother then.

I have a three year old and four year old.
I would leave the toddler bed in there for awhile, so that she can transition to the other bed without feeling like she was forced into the new one.

Actually, I left my son's cot in his room when I put him in a single bed just because there was nowhere else I could put the cot at that time! I took the side off it and he put all his stuffed toys in it. He got to climb on it and look out the window by standing on it.
I don't think it's a big issue psychologically. I think it's fine to leave the old bed there esp. if she likes putting her dolls to bed in it. Role-playing like that, of daily activities, is very good for young kids. So I suggest leave it there until she says she wants the floor-space for something else.

I would get rid of it but buy a doll bed for her, simply because the toddler bed takes up a lot of room.

Our moms and dads (our newborn's grandparents) are really some distance removed from parenting as we see it in the present day. in case your acquaintances are like my individuals, they probable idea twin and toddler mattress develop right into a similar challenge. for my section, i'd fold it up and positioned it in the closet till your toddler is in a large mattress yet in case you cant wait that lengthy and your older one is in favor of a comforter then bypass ahead and use it. do in simple terms what feels suitable. even with each and every thing, as a figure you should have best say on what is going on on your kin.

No its not a bad idea but if it will make you more comfortable you can put a bed rail on the bed. But unless she is a really wild sleeper like my 6 year old I wouldn't be to concerned.
