International trade is very effective. Any imbalances are quickly corrected so there is no easy money.

Thai baht gold chains advertised on the internet are much more expensive than can be bought in the shops in Thailand. The Thai gold shops sell these 23 carat chains for just over the spot gold price plus a few bucks for installing the clasp. They buy it back for almost the spot price so the spread is quite small.

The chains I've seen on the internet are marked up a lot but still less than US jewelry stores. The website below is adding ~$100/baht. You could check some websites and see if this a possibility. You would have to find out import/export laws and taxes on gold chains.

The risks of course are fluctuations in the price of gold and the initial investment required. Good luck.

Women and Drugs ! No, Just joking ,Ha Ha , seriously do you really expect people to tell you this ? If they are doing it successfully already ,will they be prepared to set you up in competition ? Just noticed that someone gave you this idea in an answer to your laundry question ! Based on your previous questions i guess you know very little of Thailand , whilst its a great place for a holiday it becomes very different if you try to live here , especially if you have little or no funds IE pension savings etc , be careful how you invest money ( through your girlfriend , as you cannot own things , are you sure you trust her )you could end up with nothing , not everything is as it seems here !

Many people are making good money by exporting wooden carvings. There are many places around Chiang Mai that have handicrafts which are very profitable, The huge fans are cheap and very decoative, and over 500 percent profit can be made.
I would head for Chiang Mai, and spend a few days around the factories there. Electronics are not profitable.

Jewlery and purses!!! I have seen the same jewlery that I bought for $3 in Thailand being sold for upwards of $25 in the states. I really wish I had bought a lot more jewlery because it is so small and easy to travel with. The jewlery over there is really in style right now, so I would recommend that.

Many things, like food stuff, clothes, plastic wares, wooden artifacts and furniture. These are all cheap there and easily cost lots more elsewhere.

Avoid electronics, they are not local.
