I'm 18 and my boyfriend of 7 months is 24 (STFU)
Everything was going amazingly well. I like him, my family likes him, my friends like him.
And then all this Mark Foley stuff started happening, and my boyfriend got freaked out. He was like "I feel like Mark Foley because you're really young and I'm old and this is inappropriate."
And he dumped me.
I'm so upset! What do I do?

It sounds like he was using that as an excuse to dump you any way. You should find someone who is not so silly and acts more mature. There is not that much difference between your ages.

The Foley issue was not so much about age difference as it was about inappropriate emails to minors of the same sex.

24 and 18 is not far away at all.. i know a few couples who is about 10 years and more in difference in age.. they are getting along just fine.. age aside, is there any other reason why he's dumping u.. may b u should dump him instead!

you must respect his decision.
(personally I don't think that this is the real reason, he dumped you..it was just a convenient excuse...the question is, if he realizes that himself or it is entirely in his subconscious?)
