well in many cases a guy has an ideal image of his mother that he thinks of the perfect woman, and hence he feels that his girlfriend can be like her mom. yes sometimes its very difficult for the gf to absorb this but i guess tht's life. anyways it does happen sometimes and its not weird in any sense.
bye tc.

Yes. It is OK.

Boys tend to date/marry their mother and girls date/marry their fathers. Not literally, they tend to find a person who is most like them.

As a mother, I hope that when my son grows up and starts to date, he will break the trend. I also hope that whom ever he does meet and decide on, she and I will get along. It will make it easier to let him go.

I agree w/ Sugar-N-Spice, guys look for women to take care & give them affection the way their mother did! Kinda sick, but makes sense.
