How do I also verify any accident record, odometer rollbacks, etc? I know of "used car history report" and "Carfax" but do they have these in the Philippines? (I live here.)

Have the Insurance company run the VIN number. You could have the DMV or the police or the VIN also. Although the Philippines may not have the same Licensing system as the US. the police might be your best bet.

Get the V.I.N. number fromt e dashboard on the drivers side. You can see it fro the outside. Then take that to the police or registration office to get them to do a background check. It may cost, but well worth it.
