YES,...Worship God,...because u love HIM,...because He is like ur parents,..moreover HE:
1.gives u life,..existence...(..have u think if we r run out of oxygen???)

2.protect u when NOBODY can protect u,..every second!!...ur biological parents even cant do that.

3.gives u happines,...sometimes let u taste bitternes,..sadness..but..thats just to appreciate and know the feelingof happiness.

4.ALWAYS forgive u no matter what sin u makes

5.LOVE u like nobody EVER love u

6.etc

So,...why should we worship and love HIM,..just because there are reward and punishment,...like HELL AND HEAVEN???
Worship GOD is not bussiness,...is not because u afraid,..its because u AWARE..HIS GRACE,MERCY...LOVE..and etc.

God is not like a dictator,...or goverment,..that will punish and reward u....and u pretend to love this dictator,...

Your LOVE should come from your true, deep heart.....

I worship God because I love Him and He loves me. I did not choose to worship God because of the threat of hell.

Yes, absolutely. Using the threat of hell is a tool used to explain to very young kids the reason for worshiping God, they can grasp that easier than just grasping a loving God that they cannot see. As they get older, we can teach them more in detail the consequences of sin without the use of hell and damnation. When children are very young, they only understand black and white, they can't grasp grey areas.

Yes, we should love God on our own initiative, because who would want to be threated into loving someone. Jehovah God does not threat us to love him. God gave us the gift of free-will. He is a loving God, read 1John 4:8. At Exodus 34:6, reads, "Jehovah, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness and truth."(NWT) Now, as for hell, which is commonly thought of as a place of punishment for sin, we need to get the Bible's view on what it actually means. The Scriptures state: "The wages sin pays is death." (Romans 6:23) Since the punishment for sin is death, the fundamental question in determining the true nature of hell is: What happens to us when we die? At Ecclesiastes 9:5,6,10 states: "For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun. All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in She'ol, the place in which you are going."(NWT) The dead can't think, talk, see, hear anything. They are conscious of nothing. So, words like "Hell", "She'ol", and "Ha'des", simply means mankind's common grave.

Yes, we worship God because we love Him and we love His Son, Jesus. But, remember that Jesus died on the cross and overcame Satan, death, and Hell for us. That is to say that He took our place because we ALL deserve to go there because of our sins and disobedience to God and the original sin of Adam and Eve.

The love of God must be stressed to people. The sacrifice that Jesus made for us is what Christianity is built upon. There is no greater love than Jesus' love. He took our place so that we won't have to go to Hell. Hell is a real place. Those who do not choose Jesus, choose complete separation from God for eternity and that is a place called Gehenna or Hell.

Jesus is alive and in Heaven with God. We can choose to be there too because of Him. It's our choice.

I choose Jesus.

That is such an important point, and I am so glad that you wrote this. You cannot scare someone to accepting Jesus as their personal Savior. You are absolutely right. Everyone should worship Him because of our love for Him. By showing His love, the Holy Spirit will draw people unto Him. As far as I know, there is no instructions about witnessing by putting the fear of God into others by preaching hell, fire, and brimstone. This is a really great question. Thanks.

yes, Daisy. the reason why so many people do not believe in God is because of our free will, a gift from Him. He wants each one of us to find Him and love Him on our own because of Who He is, not because of what someone tells us. if you truly love God, the threat of hell shouldn't be an issue. I know where i'm headed after death or the second coming. there is no doubt in my mind.

Excellent, stupendous question. It only works when they say it to you over and over and over again while you are growing up, so pastors, priests, parents, etc have the power over you and control your life, so you can become a mindless sheep. What Christians don´t understand is that that threat does not work on non mind washed and mature individuals with a glimpse of common sense.

On the first part of your question, I agree God should be able to forgive, love, not judge, accept and understand. Not necessarily punish and condemn.

Pagan coaching. The observe Hell replaced into never interior the unique textual content fabric of the Holy Scriptures. The words used have been in Hebrew and Greek, Sheol and Hades. the two those words recommend, 'mankind's uncomplicated grave'. bear in mind while Lazarus died? He replaced into lifeless for 4 days, could have been getting tremendously ripe does not you're saying? Jesus introduced him back from the lifeless and did he ever say he replaced into in Heaven? He never suggested a observe approximately it. If he replaced into, that could have been very merciless, to deliver him back to earth back after being in Heaven.
