place to stay despite all of theorys...so i don't really know..about liverpool...?

Nottingham's a great city to live in. It's vibrant, the people are friendly, there's lots happening & travel is easy.
The downside is the high crime rate.
You just have to be sensible about where you go & what you do, like most cities.

Nah nottingham's a cool city. i'[ve lived here my whole life and never experienced crime. The rates of violent crime are pushed up by gang crime (so unless you're in a gang/look like you're in a gang, your chances of any problems will dramatically decrease). There's so much to do here it's just such a shame there is so much bad press. After a night out in town i will often walk home alone at 2/3/4am (i'm an 18yr old girl) and have never had trouble. I think most people have the wrong impression of the city.

Nottingham has always been a dangerous town. Liverpool is NOW a great place to visit as is the surrounding area.

it's the gun crime capital of Britain, kinda says it all.... Stick with Lincoln
