Yes, Jake, he has professed to be a Born Again Christian, and he was once introduced that way at camp David.

He can profess to be anything he wants, but you can see by his actions, he really isn't. Jesus taught us to pray for our enemies, not destroy them.

President Bush is saved (eternal life) by the Grace of God. He is a very moral Commander in Chief also. It is the media & the liberal agenda who leads the people astray about our President.

Even Ahamadejad (Iran) wants a Democratic President. He thinks that He can manipulate a Democratic President easier. He is waiting to usher in the 12 habith ? imam, who is an Islamic supreme leader.

Americans didn't ask for Islamic terrorists to attack us. Right now, because our President has a heart for the Lord Jesus Christ, and is praying for our nation, we are blessed.

It is prophesied that God is protecting America from another war, and that there will not be another successful Islamic terrorist attack in America.

Jake, President Bush has said He is a born again Christian. He loves God. Jesus Christ is His Lord. God has also delivered him from Alcoholism. Also at his inauguration, our nation was blessed in the name of Lord Jesus Christ. I was praying for a President that would not be ashamed of the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I love President Bush.

Jess, A born again Christian cannot abide in sin (make it a comfortable habit) because of the Holy Seed within. Christians will sin & repent, but they can't abide in it. So there is a big change at spiritual rebirth. Where we were once spiritually dead, we are spiritually alive & restored in our relationship with the Father God.

Well - the alternative would be to do nothing and hope the terrorists would become nice guys and just go away. That is not going to happen - we needed to retaliate directly and in the only way which would save probably thousands more innocent lives - which was by force. You security and mine was in the balance of our response to them, and we have to continue to do so be cause they hate us and want to destroy us - a reality.
You were not specific in what actions you think are unchristian - if it is regarding Iraq - are you ok with a tyrant and mass murderer of his own people remaining in power to terrorize their lives and oppress their freedoms? He executed opposition regularly - are you ok with that? As a Christian I am not. Maybe you should have lived in Iraq under Hussein and you would feel differently about the war. Our media is very liberal and because of the President's belief system and difference in political philosophy from theirs they often show great bias - and have done a very poor job in presenting the general gratitude of the Iraqi people - who are still learning what true freedom is.
What would you differently? And what would be the results, the consequences of your way of handling this crisis as opposed to the President's?

I cannot use the language here that I would like to use. He is too stupid to figure the world out, and he has very bad advisers. Even his wife asked him to get rid of Rumsfeldt. But, when a man goes on TV and says that Jesus (or did he use the word G-d?) talks to him, what do you expect? I could not believe I was hearing that when he actually said it.

These Evangelical Christians are trying to take over our Constitution and laws-------for a ''Christian'' theocratic state. If they do, no other religion will be safe here.

Arcturus is way off to say that Christians hate people who disagree with them. The same could be said about atheists. All people are different, people have different measures of faith. But to expect someone to be perfect because they are Christian is the same as saying that every atheist is immoral and evil.
There is no human being alive who is not sinful. Period.
As far as GW goes, I think he's somewhat of an idiot, but I believe HE believes he is doing the right thing. I guess only GOd knows that.

God created us with freewill. That means everyone has the choice of doing what they want to do, weather it be right or wrong. Born again christians are human too. This is why we worship GOD and not the president.

I don't believe that George Bush has ever said he is a "born again" Christian. He does claim to be a Christian.
But because you disagree with his decisions and policies does not make them immoral.
And even if they were immoral, Christians are sinners just like everyone else. They just recognize it and know that they need Jesus.

just because one becomes a Chrisitan, it doesn;'t mean that the person stops committing sin. we are all sinners by nature. the fact that one may be a Christian does not change that sinning nature.

no one is perfect, and no Christian's claim to be perfect. Jesus Christ is the only perfect human.

Because moral always has different meanings depending on who it comes from. The pres thinks he is Good fighting Evil. He is a wacko. To christians, its moral to hate people who think differently then them. Not the morality I want in my world.

Actions such as taking the war to the terrorists? That has nothing to do with Christianity, it has everything to do with national security.
