I was just curious because I know someone who was depoted a year ago. We are trying to get him back into the US. We have herd three different things: either never, one year, or five years. We know that there is a form for re-entering the US after deportaion.

Also, if anyone has any websites, that would be helpfull too.

Thanks.

It depends on what he was deported for and if he was here illegally or legally here.

You might find some answers here and if not I suggest you talk to an immigration attorney

It all depends on how they entered into the US in the first place. I would find you a good immigration lawyer because they can help you with absolutely any situation. But there are bar limits depending when they entered, how they entered, and how they left. So please get some help that way and don't listen to half of the people on this forums, there are just some really sick people out there that could care less.

Tegeras is right. It depends on how your friend entered the US, how long he stayed, why he was deported, and a lot of other factors. Here is the law that applies: it's the Immigration and Nationality Act

The section of the law is 212a9. As you can see, it is very complex. A good immigration lawyer can help you understand the options, if any.
