Is the dog ill with parvo? Only a vet can attempt to save the dog, Prevention is key.

In the environment? Use a solution of bleach and water. This can be difficult if you had a parvo dog that has passed and need to clean the area before bringing in another pet. Parvo can literally live in the environment for years! If you are getting a new dog to bring into a previously contaminated environment, wait at least 6 months after rigorous cleaning. There are other products besides bleach that kill the virus, you can find them at your local tractor and supply store, or the like (or check the web). Your best best, if you are wanting to bring a new dog to a contaminated environment is to adopt an older dog who is already protected from the virus AFTER the rigorous cleaning.

Good luck.

If you mean get rid of it in your dog,It must go to Vet or it will die.
If you mean in your yard, Clorox is the only thing that will kill the Virus.
If your Dog has died your Vet will recommend waiting 6 months or more before bringing a new puppy into the household.
At the clinics I worked at we always had a pan or a wet towel of clorox to step in when leaving the Parvo room. Please take the Dog to Vet if you haven't already.Sooner the better.Good Luck
