Are you against you eating meat? Are you against your child eating meat? I'd like to know the feelings of carnivores and herbivores. If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all or type.

I eat meat, but I just wanted to know what is going through my neighbor's head. I will listen (just like the rest of us do) to each individual's beliefs, I know it's wrong what they do to animals, and I eat plants too, but too many veggies almost killed my dad and he got some of his intestine removed because of that, and it's hereditaty

Eating things like beef, chicken, fish ect. is a good source of proteins and amino acids. People who choose not to eat meat I can never understand, but as long as they don't criticize people who do eat meat I don't see a problem with it. They chose their way and others chose theirs. I also don't think that parents should force their children to eat or not eat meat. There's one thing I don't think that vegetarians and vegans get; when cows, horses, any animal dies their body decomposes on the ground or they are buried so in a since they are eating something from an animal because the animal's body is nourishing the ground. Any how eating animals is no crime. If it were so, then it would be illegal. Thanks to overly eccentric animal lovers you can get more jail time for accidentally killing a deer than killing your wife. I think animals are to have their rights, but if a wild animal comes and attacks me it's going to die and unfortunatly you can't claim self defense because of people like PITA. It's considered a crime now. Crazy!

honestly I dont see anything wrong with eating meat, many animals eat other animals, I do feel sorry for the ones they slaughter but without us eating them they would over populate the earth. I however am not much of a meat eater, Im not a vegetarian but I really dont like meat all the time, I like chicken, and ham... and steak but thats about it. If I had to choose between eating the two all the time I would probably rather have vegetables and fruit.
Nothing against the vegetarians though, I just see it as being part of the food chain, I dont however agree with the inhumane treatment of animals that they use for lab experimenting which still sadly goes on today. And the killing of animals that arent used for food. Thats just my opinion

Human beings are omnivores. That's just the way it is, like it or not. Just imagine the state of affairs if we were carnivores! (Thank God, we're not.) Vegans and vegetarians probably imagine they would eat what they now eat. But not if they were carnivores they wouldn't, by definition. Just try to get your cat to consume only potatoes, brussels sprouts and green beans, Not likely. They have a minimum protein requirement and their digestive tracks are too short to subsist without meat.

It's ok to eat meat, but not mandatory. Eating meat makes it easier to get one's required protein and to order in restaurants. Plus, why lay a guilt trip on the child? (That comes later.)

Nope! We are meant to eat meat. Animals were bred to be processed into food. And for all of you who think that it is cruel to "kill" animals for food, what do you think you are doing to your veggies. You are killing them too! Plants exchange gasses, They have "blood" aka sap. They breath. The only thing they can't do is speak. Think about the last time you picked a flower. If you don't put it into water what happens? It wilts and dies. You are killing your fruits and veggies too. So, you might as well lie down and die.

No, I'm not against it. That being said, I think we could all eat A LOT less meat and treat animals better - rather than the factories that industry views them as.

You'll never convince all the people to give up meat. But eating less of it is an attainable goal.

I don't eat meat by choice. My son is not a vegetarian since he is not old enough to make that decision (although he eats very little meat).

Everyone has the right to make their own decisions. Just don't drive me crazy that you eat meat and I won't drive you crazy that I don't. :)

look at your teeth, what do you thank those two pointed teeth are for. have you ever seen a really healthy looking vegetarian. there always pale looking and most are so skinny. but to much of anythings not good for you .o I love my veggie friends and I'd never say anything to hurt there feelings. to each his own.I think that oil< fat> in meat adds some moisture to the skin. Iv never seen it in any protein supplement

I think eating meat is fine, as long as you balance it with carbs and greens. Human beings are naturally omnivores, so I do not see anything inherently wrong with the act of eating meat. As for the exploitation of animals, well, I try not to think about it too much.

i'm with you. production facility farming is atrocious. i do no longer in my view thoughts while human beings hunt sustainably or advance animals in solid circumstances. i understand the way human beings say it quite is incorrect to kill animals era. I won't argue with that. yet i could quite push for more suitable circumstances of animals. I even have self belief we could constantly devour way much less meat and for this reason advance fewer animals than we do. it truly is basically the way I see it.

Hi there. I am a veggie. Always have been, even when I was little. I just never cared for it. As I have gotten older, I have come to strongly oppose factory farming and breeding animals just so we can eat them. If you ask anyone, I even ask my husband this sometimes, if you had to go and kill the cow or hunt would you still eat meat and most people say no. My husband eats meat and he has no problem with it because he gets plenty of meat when we go out, otherwise I do not cook it because it grosses me out. It is a personal choice, and I respect everyone for their decision to eat meat or not to eat meat. I do not believe that god put animals here for us to eat. Vegetarians live longer and have less health issues. As far as my child, I am 8 weeks right now. That is their decision, I would never force being a veggie on them.
