"The Lord makes a way where there seems to be none", when the Lord answers a prayer, it often comes from a direction you don't expect. If you are praying for silly things, forget it. If you are in dire straights, then He will answer your prayer in due time and in such a way that you will have no doubt that it was Him who changed things for you. It's directly tied to your faith and acceptance of His truth.

Well, what I think is meant by most Christians when they say " God answers prayers" is from a parental point of view. Like a parent when a child asks for something. Just because a kid asks for candy doesn't mean they always get it, sometimes they do. Sometimes you have already had too much candy and it is time to eat some veggies.
You will sometimes also hear "them" say things like "God works in mysterious way" which very well may be true. However, just like children who don't know why their parents won't let them spend the night at their friends house on weeknights or whatever, I believe this is the same sort of situation.
This goes along with answer's your prayers part. because your parent (God) knows best.
I personally believe that God wants you to have what you want. If you communicate (prayer) with him about your wants and you personally work toward your goals, then God will make the achievement of these goals easier and more fulfilling for you.
Yes, he has answered mine, however, not how I expected them to be answered. They were answered in very interesting ways.

You "ask Him in he morning and He'll tell you what to do"// You ask Him to guide you and then take a good look and listen at what is happening around you. What do your dreams tell you?? Use dreamsymbols also for symbols you get "while awake"//city is mind, country is heart..blood is money is life-energy, purse is heart, economy is circulary system.. etc.. You see a bird with a broken wing?? What is it this says about you?? The car-battery is empty?? You may need to get your heart going and something is drawing your energy..You are everything and everything is you..

He also can send you someone to talk to you even, often it is a situation that is happening, but really representing and showing you something you do.. People comment on the other people doing it and do not see i in themselves often..

This often is advise on the body, how to stay healthy.. (sceptic smell, plugged pipes,,, take a (natural) laxative//)Also on spiritual matters you will get answers if you tune in.. i like the songlyrics as He wrote a million songs and will let you hear them when you need,, You need to tune in to Him and build a relationship...(or rather reacquaint as you were once together and will be again..) He will explain everyhting//

Free your mind and the rest will follow is one of these songs!!

Love

PS Every thought is a prayer!!

Free your mind, and the rest will follow. When something good happens, people claim it was prayers answered. When something bad happens it was gods will. Prayers cannot be answered by the very nature of christianity. If god knows all, and what will happen already, prayer cannot effect a preplanned outcome. Praying is asking god to change his godly plan. Its rather rude.

I believe God answers prayers that aren't entirely selfish... If we only ask for things for ourselves then how can He give us everything? This is where we must help ourselves. However, when you are genuinely praying one day, pray for someone you know who needs help, whose benefit would not benefit you AT ALL, never tell that person that you did it and keep it between you and God. Then you will see He answers prayers. God gives us what we NEED< not everything we want. That's like your parents letting you eat buckets full of candy, knowing you are in for a serious belly ache. You must have true faith darling, then He will not only listen ( He's always listening ) but come thru for you. God bless.

He answers prayers in 3 ways: yes, no, and wait.
Have faith, He will answer. Read the first chapter of James for some GREAT advice abt prayer. In fact, the entire book is awesome!
Good luck :)

If you seek Him with all your heart, you will find Him. You are probably too busy to realize that He is speaking to you. God whispers, He doesn't scream. If you and a friend were in a room together, and your friend whispered in your ear- could you hear it if the room was filled with 100 loud obnoxious people, you probably wouldn't. If you were alone and it was quiet, you'd have no problem. Get alone with God and sincerely seek Him with no distractions - He'll answer

and yes, God answers me all the time, in various ways.

there are many who doubt that GOD answers Prayers. we must remember GOD is on a different time frame than mortals are on because we exist only a short period of time. as an example a second in mortal time might be a million years in GOD'S time.

If you stop doubting and questioning God He will answer your prayers then you will know the meaning.

your prayers are answered--sometimes the answer is no. Seek first the Kingdom of God and all else will be given unto you
