I have a friend who got a lawyer, and all the lawyer did was repetedly get the court date changed. On the third or fourth trial the cop never showed and he got out of it. You'll make back the money you spend on a lawyer when it comes to your car insurance.

Considering that the speed limit in the city limits is 55, and reckless driving STARTS at 20mph over any posted speed limit, that means 75+ is reckless driving, and you say you were going 103mph? Holy Geepers! I doubt you will get ANY leniency!

That is just crazy, and you definitely deserve a high dollar ticket! Should you get a lawyer? Maybe, but it might end up just costing you more, because you will probably lose! :(

I don't know about getting a lawyer but I would consult w/one. Man your lucky you didn't go to jail. I would at least take the $50 and consult an attorney if for nothing else what you can do. I don't think the judge will be up for traffic school. Best of luck w/that.

Wow....you have to get a lawyer. He will probably see if you can get the ticket reduced for "reckless" driving. The fine will be large but it will be less points on your license and will not affect your car insurance as bad. Good luck...you are going to need it.

How do you do that on the 5? I can never go more than 26 miles an hour, the traffic is always so bad.

Get a lawyer.

If you bought in correct after it occurred and will furnish evidence that you just have been unaware that your coverage has been canceled in a fair period of time than sure. If it used to be canceled the identical month that you just bought the price ticket, than you could have an excessively top hazard of having the quotation voided. Any longer than that and it is going to surely no longer occur. Good good fortune

Dude, I don't think you're going to get away with anything if you were driving 103 in a 15!

lol stupid. In my state if you've not had a ticket in the last 2 years you can get a deferment providing you don't get a ticket in the next 6 months. the fee is twice that of a ticket but you won't get your insurance rates skyjacked.

I take it you don't believe that there should be consequences to your actions. There are reasons for rules and laws, not the greatest of which is your own safety. Just step up to the plate and take it like a man. You knew you were speeding when you did it.

You're just going to have to bite the bullet and take out a loan to pay for it...or leave the country. A lawyer's going to cost you a good chunk, also.
