He thinks being homosexual and religious at the same time is okay. I already compiled a list of Bible verses that discuss homosexuality and gave them to him, but they had no effect... Besides praying, what else should I do?

Well, first of all, this 'never sin again' junk is ...junk. Every single moment, you sin. No way around it. Thought, touch, sight, action, response.....it is all tainted. So, this brings all people down to a level playing field. How do you tell a homosexual friend something? The same way you'd tell your brother something. You love him enough to care. Talking about sin is tough, because it's like a spotlight and people will jump out of it fast. So, you talk in terms of 'we' and 'us', not somebodys obvious problems. Just follow the condensed 10 commandments. Love God and love your neighbor (friend, person within sight, etc...) and love your friend, talk to him about the good stuff and be general about sin (no specific qoutes.....uggghh, I spent enough time in third world countries to learn that you can't argue love into someone, and each person is really talked to by the Spirit, you just point in the right direction).... like I said, you are no different from your friend....just saved.

You can only live by example. Never sin again, that includes via the Old Testament and the New Testament. You will have to treat women as second rate citizens, and stoning will be involved.. Plus no shell fish, or desires to be with women.

Once you have stopped sinning the thousands of ways to sin, then you can share with him how to turn to God for guidance and not sound and/or be a hypocrite.

Until then, you need to take a long look at your beliefs and how you should change yourself. Do not impose your beliefs onto another person until you are at least capable of not sinning yourself.

Read the book : What the Bible Really Says About Homosexuality by Dr. Daniel Helminiak.

Then seriously consider how you got to the point of thinking that God speaks to you more than he speaks to your friend about your friend's life.

Hahahah tell him to become a priest so he can represent Christianity and how tolerant it is. Lol JK really tell him that he is comitting a major sin and it is time he chose between his sexual orientation (which provides only temorary gratification) or God's commands (eternal bliss in the hereafter). Well, I believe Islam is the way to go, but any religion (with one God) is better than being lost. Peace and good luck. God bless.

Hi, tell your friend he is one half of a god and to be complete he needs his other half back, Eve (woman) is God’s gift. Imagine how lonely God must have got to create such a creature and curse man with one only, sitting, waiting wherever He is. For he loved us so much that He became a single entity. Then to repeat His act of love, gave us Jesus Christ.
Wow, now that’s love.

Well, maybe he just believs that God loves everyone. The Bible says that too. I believe it also mentions something about any sin against God being equally bad...so really, unless you've hit perfection, I wouldn't worry about and leave it between him and God. It is his own life, after all.

J-me - you have said what you had to say, not let it go. Continue to pray as you feel led, but don't harrass him, it'll just turn him away from God.

nothing.........you have done all required of you and to persist would only cause bad feelings. Your job is to pray now and nothing more. Its when people go beyond this that they are pushing or forcing their beliefs on someone. you shared and informed now say no more

The bible is false, leave him alone. Being homosexual is okay.

Leave him alone. Doesn't your religion say to judge not lest ye be judged? If I were him, I would no longer be your friend. In fact, you are not a friend. If you were, you'd accept him as he is.
