Some guys pray 5 times a day, yet they are 5000 times likely to commit HEINOUS crimes of varied nature. Why?

Because they are hypocrites. They like to see only one part of a sentence and ignore the other 90% of it. They fail to read the next sentence which says "If you wrong others, your prayer is invalid". There was also a hadith about that. Some men were complaining (men and complaining, gee what's new about that?) that their woman neighbor did not pray. They compared her to another neighbor who prayed all of the time. The Prophet (PBUH) asked "How do they treat their neighbors?" The men replied "The one who prays is very mean to her neighbors and none like her much. The one who never prays is very good to her neighbors and helps them when she can" The Prophet (PBUH) then said "The one who prays, her prayers are invalid. The one who does not pray, her works are still counted as good deeds. Prayer without faith means nothing. Treat others well and you will go to heaven. Treat others badly and no amount of prayers will help you'

"HEINOUS crimes of varied nature" --->It depends which side of the line you are and to who's tunes you are dancing .

Every conservative,hardliners is a terrorist till they achieve their political or idealogical Aim after the struggle. Then they become "Martyars" or Freedom fighers.

Jews,Christinas,Hindus,Buddhists all have their own ways .
No religion or idealogy is pure or perfect and they all have their
share of dark patches ....

I don't care how many times they pray nor I care what amount of crime they commit.
But when I learn that there are people who count me infidel, I am worried because:
For them it is just a matter of time to make me a 'believer'.
They will surely not allow me to hold what I consider sacred for me.
I, being an infidel, is liable to be killed any time for the sake of Allah, if I refuse to become a believer.
My murder is going to be rewarded in the heaven with 72 virgines.
I need not dream that my offspring will carry my culture, tradition and religion because all these are false, according to these fighters of god.

What is heinous crime.?
If it is favourable to us we call even killing of lacks of our enemies as a very good activity and award him with some Chakra.We are killing lacks of mosquitoes daily.It is also a being having some life.Daily we are killing numerous animals for our food even though we had an alter native the vegetarian food.We gave licenses to numerous non vegetarian hotels.Is it proper to say "don't allow them into Church/Temple/gurudwara/mosque"..

Such guys just pray MECHANICALLY and from their heart. God answers prayers of those who render sincere prayers out of love and devotion. These guys are just misled by some of their leaders who misguide them the meaning of martyrs. So, until better sense prevails, this will go on forever.

Ok, altho I do think you are stereotyping a bit, I see what you are asking. I think the answer is mentally ill. There are people who commit crimes as you said and afterwards show no remorse or understanding of why it is wrong. You can say pray if you want, but what they are doing is justifying their wrongs to God, ( or whoever ) but what they don't see is that God knows all. to the mean answers :
Muslims pray only fife times .and where is the problem ?. it doesn't take from u 10 minute for every pray time.. is that so over the man to do this pray it easy one .. god give us the health and
power and the ability of moving and standing .. why we don't thanks god for that .. why we most not thanks him for his grace and blessing !
