This is gonna sound harsh.....but just because you like him doesn't mean he's ever gonna like you....no matter what you do.

It also sounds like this "crush" is causing you to feel badly about yourself.

I think I would put him in the back of my mind and concentrate on making me the best person I can be.....for myself.

Many guys, even popular guys, like women with big thighs!

When it comes to choosing a mate, many (probably most) men don't put much weight into social status categories like 'dorks' or 'popular' .

Flattering clothes are great, but when the clothes come off rejection is still a possibility no matter how thin or fat a person is, since beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Buy Teen magazines and look at the fashion trends for fall. Since you don't like showing off your legs fall clothing is perfect for you. Build up some confidence and talk strait with this boy you may surprise yourself.

Ok sister, he's not going to like you no matter how hard you try. If he's hot, popular and slim then he's probably wanting a girl who's hot, popular and slim too. It's my experience. It's better to just forget him and get a guy that's cool and fun rather than hot and popular.

if you do like him, believe in yourself and try to talk to him.
there's nothing in the world more important than self-confidence, think hard what he really like? good personality or good looking?
if good personality, then you just be yourself and get to know him freely...no matter fat, no matter ordinary. if good looking, then it's no use to change yourself for him, your minds can be attractive to someone out there, but not him...don't be silly. find a man worth loving. nobody can really change for anybody, be good to yourself, don't get hurt...
take care, good luck :-)

just be yourself dont try to change you for anyone. if he dont like you in that way for who you are he isnt worth having. dont pretend your someone else to please him cause if you do it will only hurt you even if he gets with you and it makes you happy youi will soon feeel like your living to lies. the real you might slip out one day if you both are together for a while and he might mnot be pleased or he might be suprised. and it wil end up hurting you and him even more so think about it and remember either way to try finding love there is someone for everyone. all we have is time. try to focus on yourself more and everything will fall in place...good luck

You don't need to change yourself. He may already like you since he has tried to make contact with you by talking. Be yourself and talk back next time.

Don't pretend to be something your not. Just get the courage to ask him out or become friends and then ask him. Friendship is the foundation to all that stuff.

The most attractive thing about a person is their self-confidence. If you have that, it doesn't matter what you look like. If that's not enough, then the other person is shallow and not worth your time.

Yeah, ask him out! What's he gonna do say no? If so, so what?! No loss for you but if he says yes then you may be on to something.
