there are alot of things to think about. can you live with your decision to kill your baby? If there is no way that you can raise this baby or you dont have any help, is adoption an option. You could have an open adoption where you can still be a part of the baby's life. Having an abortion is a HUGE decision. Dont jump into it without giving alot of serious thought.

Some years ago, my daughter said her step father wanted her to get an abortion, as she was unmarried. My advice?

If you don't want your child bring her/him to me. It's family after all.

She decided to keep and raise her daughter, who is now 21. Fortunately, the child's father is still around and has done a good job at fathering.

I would NEVER under any circumstances other than if the mother is a hopeless drug addict, advise anyone to abort. The majority of those who do are sorry for the rest of their life. Those who are not sorry have no character, and have no business having offspring, whether accidental OR on purpose.

This is a major decision. The timing of your pregnancy has a lot to do with it as well, because you probably don't feel like you have a lot of time to decide. What kind of support do you have? You must always make sure you are supported by someone in your family and if your b/friend or husband is aware as well. Keeping a secret will surely be stressful and cause you emotional hurt for years to come.

If you have any doubts, you should postpone your appt. for now and be able to weigh your options clearly. We make the most hurtful, rash or stressful decisions when we feel that there are no options available to us.

What about your career? Are you working or in school? Would you be able to raise a child is you were forced to? Do you have someone in your faith you can speak openly to you? Seek the couseling of a Reform Rabbi or an interfaith religious leader who can give you emotional and spiritual guidance.

I can tell you that children are the best thing in your life for love, enrichment and fulfillment. The responsibility of my 3 girls very often helps me make good choices for myself also.

This "issue" is probably one of the hardest you'll ever personally address. If you have your abortion, you will remember it all your life and be tied to it emotionally regardless of the time or children to come. I don't want to convince one way or the other, but this is a complex issue in which most of the arguements are in the "against" column.

Finally, I would ask you to please make the decision to practice safe birth control. Condoms and pills are very easily available and cheap. It is not as embarrasing buying these items when you consider the stress you arer under now. Plus birth control indicates something very important people often forget. When you are using birth control, you may be in a relationship. This indicates you can be comfortable with intimacy.

Giving and recieving love are vital elements to our emotional and phychological health. No matter the outcome, you will probabl make love again in the future. Make sure you are able to give love and yourself the gift of love without worry or guilt. I hope you can come from this with many decisions in the future which help you to be a stronger adult. Good luck to you.

nice question. You should watch a video called silent scream. you will cause that "fetus" to feel pain. Not that I give two rat ****s what anyone else does with their body (except my wife) But for the average uneducated baby killing welfare mom(or soon not to be mom) its important that you at least make one good decision and find out what really happens. You will be causing something to die and writh in pain until its over. But, again, I'm an athiest. It has no real value in the word of this supposed god people believe in and then destroy his supposed creation. Kill it, keep it, it doesn't matter to me at all, just get educated on what really happens.

lastly, my best quote I could provide:

I've never met a woman who can pick out a purse without changing her mind a hundred times. yet, I've met hundreds who will kill their unborn baby at the drop of a hat.

are there no alternatives for you than abortion ? is there no one you can talk this through ? have you thought this through ? can you count on the support of your family and friends ? you don't need to be there for your appointment if you are not sure youare doing the right thing. you can move the appointment for a later date until you can seek out other alternatives.that is if you're not yet that far out pregnant.

you should give a little more info here, do you want us to tell you whether to have a baby or not, we cannot do that for you, it is a completely personal decision that rests on many factors.
